Time! How Are You Spending Yours?
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV
THOUGHT
We are reminded in scripture that WISDOM is the principal thing, therefore as we get wisdom, we should also seek understanding.
Every fork in the road, and every crossroad of life requires a decision on our part.
Throughout our entire life, on a daily basis, 24/7, we are making countless choices that determine whether we live as WISE or as FOOLISH.
A WISE decision is not based on self-examination of anything else, other than the wisdom of God that is found in His Word. Yes, it is through the seeking of the Lord's guidance and His wisdom that we make wise choices.
While we are the holy children of God, we must be aware of the TIME is happening in our world. The evil one is still able to exert his influence in the minds of a lot of people.
God will have us “redeem the time,” by taking advantage of every opportunity to impact people’s lives with His grace, to resist temptations and overcome the threats of the devil. Take advantage.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
I need wisdom, help me to know the best way to spend my time and influence. Let my eyes be open to the dangers that the enemy places in my path.
Give me the courage to be your advocate, and the discernment to see how to best help others according to their requirements.
In Jesus name I pray,
AMEN.
