Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean

THOUGHT
God cares more about the QUALITY of what you learn or do, than the QUANTITY.
In this week's scripture, Jesus is saying that even though people may appear to be giving with their hands (the action), it is what’s in their heart that matters most.
Jesus would much rather you read one scripture verse and get revelation out of it, than to read two whole books in the Bible and not have a clue about what you read.
In today's culture, it appears that unless something is humongous it really isn't worth much... But when God sets out to do something, He doesn't really care so much about numbers or size, just your heart

PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
I ask that you search my heart O Lord. Purify my heart, my desires, my motives by the cleansing power of your Holy Spirit.
I want to reflect your character in both my interior and exterior worlds. May the words of my mouth, the thoughts of my mind, the motives of my heart, and the actions of my hands be pleasing to you
